a swift champion.

Defender of Rheged,

fire in the houses before daybreak
in front of the Lord of Erechwydd.

Fairest Erechwydd
and it's most generous men.
It's usual for the Angles (English) to have no security
in the presence of the bravest of all kings.

With the bravest nature,
It's you who are the best
of all those who've been and will be,
there is no-one to rival you.
The Golden King of the North,
the supreme one of all Kings.
